Welcome to the ANTIGUA RESTAURANT GUIDE

Hello! My name is Dave Woodcock. I’ve been working on and off in Antigua in the hospitality field since 1983. I’ve been here full time since 2001. Away from Antigua, my time was spent on the East Coast of the United States, working in several different Restaurant/Club atmospheres. I now manage the Long Bay Hotel, a small resort owned by my long time college friend, Chris Lafaurie. During the last couple of years, the idea of a restaurant guide kept coming to mind every time I set out for dinner, drinks, lunch and even a trip to the beach. There was no central source of information about the happenings in and around Antigua, on a given night or even a given week.

After reflecting on this quirk of island life, I decided that others like myself, as well as visitors, might find an updated and dedicated restaurant guide useful. Thoughts went to paper, paper to action and here we are. The ANTIGUA RESTAURANT GUIDE was born.

I have set up the site so each member may add or change their individual listing and promotion as they see fit. For example: daily specials and menus, seasonal hours of operation, who is open for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea as well as dinner and late night dancing? The ANTIGUA RESTAURANT GUIDE should answer these questions.

We are very interested in your comments on the outstanding aspects of your dining experience. Your thoughts will be used for a future ANTIGUA’S BEST AWARD section.
